La Palme Hotel
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the popular Volcanoes National Park for a briefing before entering the forest to search for the bamboo-associated primates. Some consider this the next best experience after gorilla trekking. You will have one hour to spend with these beautiful Albertine Rift endemics. Following this activity, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to prepare for gorilla trekking. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Karungi Camp
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to prepare for your mountain gorilla adventure. It is recommended to carry enough drinking water and a packed lunch. Our trekking team, including porters, will assist by carrying your bags and helping you navigate slippery or steep sections of the forest. Following the briefing, trekkers are grouped into teams of eight and guided by a park ranger into the forest, where you will spend one hour with the gentle giants. Given that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest, rain gear is essential. After the trek, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most beautiful lakes. Here, you may choose to swim in the second deepest lake in Africa or explore the surrounding communities on foot.
Bunyonyi Overland Resort
