Overview

The Lemosho Route is celebrated for its superior acclimatization benefits, offering trekkers a beautiful and less crowded path to Kilimanjaro’s Shira Plateau. Although the trek can be completed in as few as six days, a seven-day itinerary is highly recommended. This extra day allows for improved acclimatization, reducing the risk of altitude sickness and providing more rest before the summit push. Ultimately, the additional time enhances both safety and overall enjoyment on the climb to Africa’s highest peak.
